I recently started collecting antique or vintage Little Golden Books. What does mcmxcIII stand for?
I know this relates to the edition but I don’t know how to decipher it and I’m trying to avoid purchasing junk books. I have a mint condition Tootle that says it’s a 1945 copyright and features MCMXCIII. I have a 1957 My First Counting book, it has MCMXCV. Any help would be great. Thanks
